Why I started
Built from experience. Made to last.
I’m a professional woodworker, content creator, and dad of two from Kansas City. What began as weekend projects in my garage has grown into a business offering dependable repairs, installations, and custom projects.
Everything behind Shopfix comes from real work in the shop and the field, shaped by sawdust, mistakes, and lessons passed down through generations.
From home repair projects and commercial installations to tool testing and product development, I do everything at Shopfix with one goal: practical, dependable results made to last.

WHERE IT STARTED
I grew up in Kansas City with woodworking woven into my life from an early age. My grandfather was a home builder, remodeler, and skilled woodworker. The pieces he created, especially an heirloom secretary desk, showed me the patience, precision, and care behind work made to last.
He built me my first workbench, giving me a place of my own to learn, experiment, and create. I carried that interest into high school, where I studied Wood Technology for all four years. During my freshman year, I began a tradition of building something for every member of my family each Christmas, a tradition I continue today.
Now, I work from a fully equipped shop using many of the same machines and tools I grew up around. Those early experiences laid the foundation for Shopfix and continue to guide how I approach every repair, installation, and custom build: with practical thinking, careful workmanship, and respect for the craft.
