About Shopfix
Shopfix is built in a real workshop shaped by sawdust, mistakes, and a deep respect for a craft passed down through generations.
I’m Connor Mandry, a self taught woodworker, content creator, and dad of two. What began as weekend projects in my garage grew into something much bigger. Today, Shopfix is a place for community, commissioned builds, tools, gear, and products that are built, tested, and used.
Through daily shop work and my YouTube channel, I document real builds, honest tool recommendations, and lessons learned through hands on experience. Nothing here is theoretical. It comes from long hours at the workbench.
Shopfix apparel and products reflect the maker mindset. They are durable, intentional, and purpose driven. These are not ideas pulled from trends. They are shaped by real projects and real shop use.
That mindset did not start with Shopfix. It started long before I ever had a shop of my own.
I grew up in Kansas City, surrounded by woodworking from an early age. My grandpa on my dad’s side was a home builder, remodeler, and later a woodworker whose heirloom secretary desk perfectly reflects the depth of his craftsmanship.
I followed in his footsteps, taking Wood Technology all four years of high school. During my freshman year, I started a tradition of building something for every member of my family each Christmas. It is a tradition I still continue today.
Today, I work out of a fully equipped shop using many of the same machines and tools I grew up with. Shopfix was born from a commitment to the craft and a genuine love for woodworking, with the goal of helping others bring their custom woodworking projects to life.
Thanks for being part of Shopfix.
